Free toilets! What a deal! Right?

Lets take a look.

 The calls are starting to come in. The Niagara toilet offered by the City of Austin for free might be worth exactly what you spent for it. Clogs, and strange function with the flush lever are the main complaints from this flaperless toilet. Might I recommend you consider one of the city’s rebates for a “real” toilet if you are considering using the program? I think that Austin is on the right track with water conservation. The down side to offering a crappy toilet is the consumer still has to pay a plumber to install it, then, they get the plumber to replace it again.
